Hurricane Sandy and The’s offices are in the West Village of New York City, just two blocks from the Hudson River. Due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy, we experienced flooding and loss of power in our building, and, as a result, some of our e-mail and newsletter communication has suffered over the last few days. We hope to have our e-mail newsletter system restored by early next week.


Although many of our New York-based employees are currently without power, we’ve banded together at coffee shops and friends’ homes in an communal effort to keep South Beach Diet running as close to normal as possible. We’re happy to report that our site has operating without interruption since the storm hit.
