Four years ago, Heidi P. was overweight, had borderline high blood pressure, and was at risk for developing other related illnesses. As a Recruitment Data Specialist for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, an internationally renowned academic medical facility in New Hampshire, Heidi knew she finally had to take control of her health and her poor eating habits. And that's exactly what happened! Through the support of her husband, family, and friends, Heidi improved her health and lost a whopping 103 pounds on the South Beach Diet. Today, Heidi continues to follow a healthy lifestyle that includes eating a balanced diet and hiking for exercise. She also now serves as the spokesperson for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's Live Well/Work Well program, which encourages its employees to lose weight and improve their health.
