Baked Sweet Potato Chips

These healthy low-fat chips get pizzazz with the addition of Italian seasoning. For "hot" chips, try Cajun seasoning or add minced garlic.

Ingredients

  • 2 large potato(es), sweet
    sliced into 1/4-inch half moons
  • 2 teaspoon oil, olive, extra-virgin
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning, dried
  • 1 pinch salt
  • pepper, black ground
    to taste

Instructions

    Heat the oven to 400ºF.

    In a large bowl, toss potatoes with oil, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Spread in a single layer on two large baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes. With a spatula, turn slices over and continue baking until chips are golden, about 7 minutes longer. Serve warm.
