Greek yogurt adds richness to this delicious banana dessert, which tastes like a cross between banana cream pie and key lime pie, without the crust!

  • 2 medium lime(s)
grated peel ( use 2 teaspoons of zest, divided) plus juiced (use 1/4 cup)
  • 3 tablespoon sugar substitute
    plus 2 teaspoons, divided
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil spread, butter-flavored
  • 2 medium banana(s)
    peeled and sliced 1/2-inch thick
  • 6 ounce(s) yogurt, low-fat, Greek-style, plain

  • 1

In a large skillet, combine 1 1/2 teaspoons of the lime zest, the lime juice, 3 tablespoons of the granular sugar substitute, and the vegetable oil spread. Cook over low heat until the vegetable oil spread melts. Add the bananas and cook, turning occasionally, until tender, about 4 minutes.

  • 2

Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, stir together the remaining 1/2 teaspoon lime zest and remaining 2 teaspoons sugar substitute. Add the yogurt and stir to blend.

  • 3

Divide the warm bananas and pan juices evenly among 4 dessert bowls. Spoon the yogurt alongside each serving and garnish with lime twists, if you like.
