Hi all,

First of all, my name is Diane. I have been researching weightloss surgery and was gun ho and ready to get the Duodenol Switch when the surgeon told me that because of a hernia the length of time it would take would be to dangerous. I could get a VSG but would prefer the Ds. At any rate, I will talk with anyone about the surgeries another time. Right now , I am going make my umpteenth attempt at another Diet. I am definitely going to need support so I am open to any buddies. I am inCt and would love face to face buddies but virtual is great also.  Contact me any time. Promise Iwill get back to you.  BEST OF LUCK TO ALL !!!!

Diane

I'll join in!
I'm starting today. I'm 59, work in an office where we eat lunch at our desks and basically sit all day. I've been eating a lot of sandwiches for convenience, but that has to end now.
Do you know how to keep in touch with each other?
Thanks - Jane

Hi, it sounds like we have a lot in common.  I'm 52, from Baltimore, MD.  I work in an office sitting on my butt all day long and looking at a kitchen full of bagels, donuts and cup cakes.  This is my third day on SBD.  The first 2 days were rough, headaches and nausea but today is much better.  I think I'm on the right track.  Let's share good and bad days, I'm sure it will help.
