Hi, today is my first day on SB. I'm doing a complete change. I joined a gym, and joined others at SB, i know it's going to work. I'm married, all our children are gone and most are married. I live out in the country, with only chickens as farm animals. We have dogs and 2 cats.
When I work out at the gym i have gotten up to 30 min, so far, taking it slow my trainer says it's best.
I'm looking for a buddy who is friendly and will push me and stand by me, and I'll do the same.
I've got 160lbs. to lose,,,man i can't believe that much...but yes, i let myself go a long time..
5 yrs, ago I injured my back and had been in complete bed rest. so I'm back and ready to sock it to it. We can do this together, it takes a village, someone once said.
Thanks and good luck!!

Starting this lifestyle change again.  It just seems like I can't stick to anything I try, yet I am miserable.  I have 90 lbs to lose in order to feel like I want to.  I will be happy to be your support as long as you can be mine.  Take care, Holly

Ya i was the same way, i couldn't sticki to anything either. i had to come back to sb.. i quit 2 yrs ago, it has gotton me nowhere. but this time i'm stayin on board until i reach my goal, nomatter how long it takies me. it's tough though, but it helps when you can talk to someone about simular stuff. hang in there and talk to you soon, linda

So how have you been doing? i've been doing ok, with a few flubs along the way, but i feel better about myself when i stick to sb. all the way. tomarrow i go to the gym and work out and bring my poodle to the groomer, and bring one of my clients shopping. so i should be busy enough not to want to cheet off sb. i don't want to cheet anyway cause i feel better when i totally eat sb. inside and out.
well you take care, and keep on sb. linda

Hi, just joined today and I'd like to drop about 20 pounds but could really use motivation from someone who's serious about losing weight and getting healthy. I recently lost my job and am concerned that I'll pack on the pounds without a daily routine and sense of purpose. let me know if you'd like to be buddies. Looking forward to hearing from you. Teresa
