Hi I am on my 7th day and just signed up to the web site. I would like to meet some buddies that I can talk with about the diet, share recipes and successes. With the Holidays I see my 1st big challenge.

HI,

I am around my 10th day in Phase 1, but I thing I might extend phase 1 by another few days with the holidays, etc.

I am also looking for a buddy to share recipes with and talk about how the diet is going. Let me know if you are interested in keeping in touch!

Hi SheBella;

How are you doing ? I think it will be great to have you as a buddy I know I need support and need to talk to someone that is feeling the same as I am in our daily journey to our goal. I finally started having energy. I started going to work out at the health club again. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Rose,

It is hard to stay on track, but I feel lucky to have a very supportive husband. I think that hardest thing for me is that I really like dessert. So, I always look forward to my one treat a day. I have been having the South Beach Peanut Buttercup. I found the recipe on one of the discussion boards. It is a sugar free fudgesicle, peanut butter & cool whip. It is delicious and really helps me out.

I still feel constantly hungry and I am bad about weighing myself everyday rather than once per week. I have small snacks when I get hungry...even at 7 pm. Then I try not to snack at all after 9 pm. I will have a small slice of low-fat cheese or a slice of lunch meat (low sodium and lowfat, all natural).

Hope this is helpful. How are things going for you?

That snack show yummy, I know my husband will enjoy it. I feel the same way at night. I look for those little snacks to tied me over.

Today will be a big challenge, but I am making sure to have plenty of good choices around the house to help me throughout the day.

I hope you enjoy your holiday.

Hi Rose,

How was your Thanksgiving?  Mine was very fun.  Unfortunately, I totally went off the diet but today I am back on.  How did you do?  I really had a loss of energy until about my 9th day.  Thanks for the buddy invite I am going to look at that right now and sign up.  ttyl.

I am really happy that you did so well on Thanksgiving!  How much longer will you stay on Phase 1?  I am supposed to start Phase 2 tomorrow and am very concerned.  I am afraid that the taste of even "good carbs" will throw me over the edge.  From reading the boards, sounds like you have to try and see what happens.  Hope you are doing well.  Keep up the good work!!!!

Hi Mary

How is Phase II going for you? I have expanded into some of phaseII, but  still seem to enjoy the foods in phaseI.  The biggest thing is I have added some fruit and more of the vegetables into my daily choices. I find myself making better choices, but I do allow myself an indulgences every now and then. One thing for sure is that being busy with the holidays has helped me keep my mind off food.

I would be pleased to be your buddy.  I am now on day 9 of phase 1 and very pleased with the results.  I'm a little concerned about the parties and Christmas dinner coming up but I had to start sometime so here I am.  The cold weather is also a temptation as stews and chili are always comforting on a cold day.  We can share meal and snack ideas!

Hope all had a good holiday and didn't lose to much ground. Its back to following the program. I find it easier to follow when my routines of work etc are consistent.
