Hi, I would really like a buddy. I am trying to lose 35 pounds and would appreciate some support. I am in my early sixties, but I don't look or feel my age. I work fulltime in a demanding job and need someone to hold my accountable. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi there!  I hear you on the need support issue - I just turned 50 and 20 lbs crept up on me and now will not go away.  I tried Weight Watchers but counting the points was good and bad -  I used this diet many years ago in preparation for my daughters wedding and lost so I'm back so my pants fit again!

The first two weeks is the most difficult as you change the way you eat and cook.  I work more than full time as an HR Director so meal planning is a challenge.  I have committed to sitting down and creating a menu and shopping list - I have not done it ...yet.

Hi Rhonda,
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I too tried WW, but points counting drove me nuts and I never seemed to lose very much. I am committed to SB and am poring over menus to try and plan this week's meals. I too work over 40 hours and I travel somewhat, not usually overnight, so meals aren't always at the same time. I am going to try and plan some healthy snacks for the week and will definitely eat breakfast. I usually take my lunch to work when I am in the office.
