Hi I am Chocolate4 I have four beautiful babies all were delivered by c-sectiion so I have a long road ahead of me.  I weighed 150pds before I had my babies now i weigh 280pds I need someone to help me stay motivated I really do not stick to any diet plan but i do plan on sticking to this so nice to meet everyone and good luck

Hi, i'm starting South Beach today, and I would really appreciate contacting other women to sound out ideas and help me back from the brink of giving up when I teeter on it! I'm 40, professional, married, no kids. I recently lost 4st with 'Lighter Life', living on soup, but need to get another stone and a half off. It just won't budge, tried all sorts, but enthusiastic about SBD.

I'm just starting out on South Beach, and thought having a few buddies would help to keep me on track. I'm 40, married, working and looking to loose 21lbs. I recently lost 4st with 'Lighter Life' living on soup and NO FOOD. I'm glad I did it but still have those 21 stubborn lbs to go and i've tried everything.

How are your babies? how are U? I'm at work today, looking after a physically disabled young man and we've nothing appropriate in. Maybe I should shop first then start? I'm sure I can get in to it, just got to buckle down and focus.

I am 79 years old , and gave birth to 3 children and after each one I was so big I had to go on diet + gym for a complete year to return in shape .
So I understand how you feel !
But this our type of women , and the best way to get motivated is to make a "mind portrait of what you want to achieve "
Check how tall are you , how much weight you will like to be and make a time table , for 4 months in advance , ( I am like this today , I'll be like this in 4 months )
For instance , by june 2010 , I'll be 80 years old , and I plan to be 160 pounds , so I am in phase 2 , and working towards it , at a good pace .
So my dear chocolate4 , keep on your diet , you have a lot of work with your children , but it is important to have a inner live for yourself , in the long run is a plus happiness for all ...
