Shift working Mom from Nova Scotia giving it all I got!

Hi everyone,
My name is Renee and this is actually the second time I have done the SBD. I am determined to succeed this time and have taken my failure from the first time and learned from it. I have made changes based on that. I am on Phase 2. I started about a month ago. I am trying my hand at running. I have a treadmill and just started a running program called couch to 5k. It will take me 10 weeks. I work shift work so that creates challenges when it comes to meal planning. With my job I might not get to eat for many hours so portable snacks are a must. I want to lose 100 lbs ultimately. My first goal is to lose 35 lbs by my 35th birthday in July. I already lost 16 so I am well on my way to that goal. I would love to find a buddy from Nova Scotia (or even Canada) as one of my challenges is finding some of the foods listed in recipes. Since the recipes are from the US we might not have exactly what they ask for or it may go by another name. That being said I will not turn down the chance to find a buddy no matter where you are from. This forum is the best way to support and make it work with this lifestyle change. So if you think that we would make great Beach buddies send me a message.
