Starting again

Started SBD in September, kept drifting away.  Today I thought about going back to Weight Watchers, but decided to re-commit to SBD because I felt great when following the plan, even though I didn't lose much weight at all.  Looking for someone to help me get through the next few months.  I have 15 lbs. to lose.  I get discouraged easily but I so want & need to lose this weight!

I'm a 50 year old married woman who works full-time.  I usually cook just for myself. Have the most trouble sticking with it on the weekends.

Anyone want to be my cheerelader?

Hi --

I'm starting again myself, starting tomorrow actually. I did SBD 2.5 years ago and lost about 40 lbs and kept off 30. I need to lose at least 20 to get to my lifetime final goal (of back what I was in high school & college).

I am also a lifetime WW member. I made lifetime a long long time ago but began attending the meetings again 2 years ago.

I notice I have a pattern of starting to succeed and then pulling back from the brink and self-sabotaging.

I am getting married in May, so that's one goal, but more than the wedding I want to spend the rest of my life being thin.

Being thin feels great. I want to find out how to take that desire to be thin and let it work for me when I want to give in to sweets, etc.

The best part of SBD is the way it reduces cravings. Since the holidays I'm nonstop craving sweets, carbs.

Tell me about yourself and your struggles.

Maria
