Hi,
I am starting South Beach today. I lost 40+ lbs. in 2005 on South Beach and then again in 2007. Unfortunately, I put it back on with 2009 being my most unhealthy eating year ever. I would love to drop 45 lbs by summer time. South Beach works SO well for me, honestly, when I stay in Phase 1 primarily, the weight just falls off me. I seem to do well from January to the end of August and then start eating all the bad stuff and gain it back from Septembert thru December. I feel so much better when I am eating well, I just seem to get addicted to the bad food and it makes me so lazy.
Well, today is a new year and I am ready to start again. I had two eggs, soy bacon and soy sausage for breakfast, 1/2 cup of tuna salad with a slice of American cheese for lunch and not sure about dinner yet (need to go to the store).
I'd love to meet others to keep each other motivated and share food ideas (particularly snacks, food on the go ideas).
