Hi To All South Beach Phase One Dieter, This is Janice, (Birdy2010), from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada (West Coast). I am 58 (for a few more weeks) and have 12 lbs. and a small mid-roll to lose. I am on Day 6 and have already lost weight. In my Journal I mentioned that I have found that it has taken a lot of work to shop, and prepare foods for this program. I check the menu for the next day so that I know what to prepare ahead of time. I make sure I use my best china and presentation tries to look worthy of gourmet magazine. Candles, no matter what time of day, and eating with intention, not gobbling, but tasting every bite is important. Protein portion is also key. Taking time for this diet adventure is key for me instead of my usual rush, rush. I am wondering if there is a Beach Buddy out there? It is Canada Day here so I am being careful with eatting at our national celebration parties as I am sure you will on July 4th!  Good Luck to everyone, but it really isn't about Luck is it?
