Hi,
Would someone be able to help with the following question on how to get started? I work three to four twelve hour shifts at my first job and ten hours a week at my second job, where do I fit in the exercise?

From the time I leave my house in the morning till the time I walk in the house is about 13 hours depending on traffic.  I am now waking up 30 minutes earlier going to the gym and meeting my vanpool right after.  I get about an 1 to 1.2 hours ar the gym, it's tough but it is helping.

There is a fitness and exercise board.  You might hop over to that board and pose your question.  Everybody has very busy lives.

From my understanding of what Dr. A writes, he isn't recommending hours and hours of time.  20 minutes several times a week and those 20 minutes can be broken down into smaller sessions if needed.  Walking is one of the main recommendations.  Many people walk on their break time or lunch hour as one suggestion.

You will lose weight without the exercise, just slower and your health will not be receiving the benefits of exercising.

The fitness and exercise board may have many suggestions for you.

wow that is really good! I work 3-4 12 hour shifts per week as a nurse and am exhausted. I need to get back to a routine. Great work!
