I am new to South Beach and would love to participate in this challenge.  I enjoy walking but tend to get sidetracked with my family and household responsibilities.  I started working out at Curves in March and in have lost 3 pounds and 18 inches since I started that.  I struggled during the summer months because my girls were home and I didn't seem to find the time between working and their activities.  I also struggle with eating healthy.  My husband and my girls are picky eaters and I tend to cook the things that they will eat.  I do not want to have to cook different meals so I end up eating what I fix for them.  I am hopeful that I can start eating better and make a better effort at getting out to walk regularly.  I do plan to continue my workouts at Curves three times a week also.

Glad you could join us!  The more the merrier and there seems to be a good group of dedicated walkers joining the challenge.  I couldn't help but notice that I did not see your name on the Week 1 thread started by Admin Richard.  I think you do have to post there too to stay current in the contest.  You can check with him and if I am wrong I apologize but you sound so determined that I didn't want you to miss out on the challenge.   Deb

Thanks for responding and keeping me in line.  I am not sure how all of this works as of yet, but I am trying to get it all figured out.  I will go back and look into the first message.  Thanks again and good luck to you.

I'll look for you over on Week 1.  I took a great walk near the lake and down into town tonight.  It was a beautiful night to walk.
