Starting the Challenge

This is just what I need. I am already participating in a "walk to Mexico" at work. The goal is to do at least 10,000 steps per day. In order to accomplish it, I go to the gym at lunch and hit the treadmill. I take along my headphones to watch the Food Channel while I'm walking. It works for me, honest. And, it doesn't make me hungry at all...

I like to walk with my headset and listen to books on tape.  I wish I could walk at lunch time but I just barely have enough time for lunch.  I do walk the halls of the school as I am trying to get in 10,000 steps a day too.  Good luck.
