It's Shelly here. I weighed in last Monday, January 4th at 210. This morning, January 11,  I weighed in at 201.  I exercised 5 and a half hours this week.

(Don't worry about the weight loss being too much...the first two weeks are ALWAYS large losses for me...I retain water like a camel when I am not eating right...it will slow down, I promise!)

I went from 200.5 to 197.5, so it is working!!  I did not exercise much this week, as my Dad was admitted to an acute care hospital for the next three weeks to attempt to get him back on his feet (diabetes complications).  Of course, this has been taking a bunch of my time, and exercise has been a casualty.  Looking at my Dad, I see myself in 10 years if I dont't get my weight and health under control, so this has been a wakeup call.  On the bright side, losing three pounds in spite of everything has me pumped to work harder this week!

Hello I was not able to get to a scale/forgot to weigh when I left the house yesterday, as I am a truck driver it is I think good I don't have easy access to a scale.  Last week, ate really well and rode my cycling trainer for a total of 3.5 hours.  Yes you get really weird looks in the cab of a tractor trailer riding a stationary bicycle.  I will post weight on Friday when I get home or if I am able to find a scale during this week, Cancer Sucks

Last week 231; Today: 227.5 pounds.   I am mostly Phase II but I am holding a little stricter to overcome the Christmas issues.  I expect next week to be more like the 1.5 to 2 pounds.  I exercised this week on my elliptical machine - 3 days - 15 minutes one day and 20 minutes the other two days.

Hope to get out and walk soon. This 35 degree-for-a-high temperature pattern does NOT agree with this South Carolina girl!! I am chilled to the BONE!

Been missing the walks around the neighborhood!

Fresh start last Monday (240).  Not a great week for me.  I consumed SB foods but many were from the phase 2 allowed lists.  It has been so extremely cold this week.  Comfort foods and coffee have been my primary craves. Weighed in this morning (236.5)

Week two and 5.5 lbs less than last week.  I went from 172 to 166.5!  Looking forward to week two and additional weight loss!  Worked out with weights about 15 mins/day, but I am still recovering from neck surgery, so I can't yet do a lot of exercise.

Hello Richard

I juat wanted to say first that I did load my post my picure but for some reason it only shows up on my profile. Anyways I am so happy to have been told about SB by my doctor. I really love the diet the main problem that I had when I was dieting was that I never new what to eat. Now with SB I don't have that problem and am able to be disciplined. I am so excited for the new me! Last week I have been on SB now for a week and my starting weight was 210 pounds. Today I weigh 203. Can you believe it I have lost 7 pounds. That is one pound a day! I Don't even crave sweets and that really was my weekness. Well thank you so much. I still don't know how to put the Tickler on my page. Help!

I weighed myself last Friday and was down to 159.5. Poor choices over the weekend, I guess.

Week 1 went great!  Lost 4 pounds, maintained control around tons of good food yesterday and exercised every day.  I think having a new puppy to walk helps!

There is a separate thread for the weekly meeting called Weekly Meeting Week 2 and something about goals.  The thing I like most about being online is the support and friendship and encouragement I get on the message boards.  Have you checked out any of the other boards?  Click on Message Boards on the left side of the screen and you will find a list of the various boards.  You will find that everyone is very welcoming and we try to help each other out in any way we can.
