I am very happy to weigh in here this week.

Made my first "mini goal" of 1 stone (or 14 pounds) and 1 pound into the next goal.

Weight:  177.5

NSV: had to buy a new belt, ran out of notches

Feeling spunky!

Even though I was on vacation most of last week, I feel good that I was able to lose two pounds.  I went from 195 to 193.  I made it a point to walk everyday, to eat good snacks, and stay away from processed foods. I had some pizza one night, and that was really the only questionable food I ate all week.  I feel like I have self-control over my food vices and that feels great!!  I just need to keep working on portion control, and keep up the exercise.

OK I kinda caught some version of the plague midweek, and only did 2 hours of training, and my current weight is 294 so a loss of 4lbs  pretty happy with that all things considered.

I am stuck at 228.  I haven't lost hardly anything in the last four weeks!  I have been under a moderate amount of stress and although I am eating appropriately I haven't exercised appropriately.  It is very discouraging.

Again I only made it to the gym twice last week, but it felt good when I did exercise.  I did really well with eating. We had guest over Saturday night and I only had a spoonful or two of the ice cream (one of my biggest indulgences).  Plus there were margaritas (another fave) but I only had maybe 2-3 oz tops.  Funny, the drink gave me a major brain-freeze and seemed to do the same thing to my stomach.  Experiencing those not so fun feelings made it easy to not drink.

We also went out to breakfast and I ordered a denver omlet buy only ate about 1/3 of the dish.  Hashbrowns were included (an oversite on my part) but I only had about 3-4 bites of those as well.  Then...darn it, I left the to-go box on the table!  Maybe a blessing in disguise :)

This week I'd like to make it to the gym three times and lose 2 # minimum.  That will put me over 10# lost and I"m going to treat myself :)

Hi to all.

I was not expecting a weight loss -- didn't stay beachy on a couple of days -- and, sure enough, I was right.  But it was time to take my monthly measurements and I've been looking forward to that.

Total inches lost since Jan 4th:  6.5
Weight lost this week:    none
Weight lost since Jan 4th:  14 lbs

All in all, not too shabby.  Now to tackle Feb -- I want to see what exercising the full month will do!

Weigh In this week - 3lbs down to 167, 13 so far.

Exercise, did more this week, adjusted my routine to getting up at 5:00 and doing it before I start work.  Even brought my 4 mile walking tape and did it on my business trip.

So far this has been a great experience for me.

Still no change in weight!!  For the second week -- 136.  Not up, not down.  I guess that is the positive side is that my weight did not increase, but, I sure would like to see it start moving down!!  I am NOT going to give up!  I am going to stick to it.  I did discover that plums are not a good thing to try.  Probably too much sugar.  I ate one for breakfast and craved food all day long.
