Slipped up this past week and gained two pounds (190 to 192).  Had a death in the family and being Southern, the huge amount of food gifted to the family was mostly home-made and phenomenol.  Managed to stay away from desserts, but slipped up on pasta, chicken and dumplings, etc.  (Foods I normally don't eat anyway.)  Am working hard to get those two pounds plus some extra off this week though.......

Good morning Richard,

Weighing in at 207.5 -- a 2.5 lb loss for the week and a total of 20.5 since Jan 4th!

I'm very excited to pass the 20 lb marker, and very relieved to record a loss at all.  Bad week last week -- very down in the dumps, didn't walk everyday, eating things not beachy.  But I guess I wasn't eating as much as I thought I was.

What walking I did do, I tried adding intervals as Dr A had recommended -- 1 min at 4mph, 4 mins at 3.5mph.  Maybe that was what made the difference.  Whatever it was, I'm feeling much better, back to eating SB and walking everyday, and very, very happy about the 20 lbs gone!

Checking in at 164, yeah lost a pound. I've been stagnant for a while but not gaining. Difficult to go back to phase 1.

I am disappointed in my weight loss this week because I had a noro virus. Vomiting, diarrhea, 5 days of IVs and only soft carbs. At one point down 800 grams but after having soup and bread on Sunday, back up. Only 200 gram loss for the week. 94.3 kgs now.

Oooh, almost forgot to post after weighing in yesterday. Where is my mind? (don't answer that admin Richard).

Staying static...no loss, no gain.  That's my own fault I'm afraid.

I was up a pound last week but this week I lost 2 pounds so I am really pleased!  I tried something different this week.  I am not one to keep a diary.  I printed off the SB menu of the day and wrote in the calories I was eating beside each group of food.  If I substituted a food or meal from the daily menu, I wrote down the substitute and filled in the calories.  I was also very good this week with exercising -- at least 30 minutes every day and one day an extra 20 minute walk.

Weighing in at 135!  Back on track and on my way to my goal!

Well I haven't weighed in for two weeks. I have been so busy with school and all. The good news is I'm still losing weight. I started at 210 and now weigh 187 I am really glad to have found SB. I probably would lose alot more if I were to exercise, but my busy schedule dosen't allow it. There have been sometimes that I didn't lose any weight and gained a pound. Im just glad that I am gradually losing the extra 70 poiunds that I have gained over the years. Im not to concerned really about losing the whole 70 pounds fast. I have a goal. My goal is to lose the 70 pounds by June of 2010. So far I'm doing great! I have lost 23 pounds since I started and can't wait till I lose the other 47. Well Thanks South Beach for the direction in getting me to eat healthier. Oh yeah I forgot to mention. I got my step father to try the SB diet and he is doing great. He has lost 10 pounds. He is also a diabetic and takes medicine. He has stopped taking his medication because his sugar level has been great. He says he feels real good.

Can't remember if I weighed in here....I did on my tools weigh in.  I had gained 3lbs.  thought it might be a water gain ,but now not sure.  not coming off like it should.  Been losing about 1 lb each week so was disappointed in the weight gain.  Back on Phase1 for a bit.
276 this week
