Weight 190.5 # going the wrong direction! Goal remains the same to change habits, so will continue to work with this goal in mind.

Hi Richard,  Down 1 lb this week.
Working at keeping my daily activity steps over 5000, not counting the aerobic steps with walking for exercise.

Ok.  Well, that one went thru -- I'll try again.

Since it's the first of the month, this is a weigh-in and measurement post.

For the month of February, I lost 8.5 lbs, from 214 to 205.5.  I also lost 3 inches, 1 inch from both my waist and hips and 1/2 inch from both my arm and thigh.  However, the inch from my waist or hips must have moved north -- I gained back an inch in my bust (I'm not complaining) so overall it was a 2 inch loss for the month.

So since the Challenge began, I've lost a total of 22.5 lbs and 8.5 inches.  My size 20 pants that were very snug at Christmas are now quite loose.  I tried on an old pair of size 18 jeans -- I got them on easily but can't quite get them buttoned.  Guess I'll need to focus on toning up those abs.

Thanks for all the advice and support I've received from everyone -- couldn't have gotten this far without it!

Ooops...

So excited about the post going thru, I forgot to include my loss for this week.

Down 2 lbs -- 207.5 to 205.5!

Closing in on crossing that 200 lb mark.  Yeah!!!

Hi Richard,
Weighing in at 162 (still... for the 3rd week.. ugh).  Seem to have hit a large plateau and can't get past it!
Oh well, still on the beach, trying hard to get that last 15 pounds off!

There's always next week!

Hello all, well the Mrs. and I have both been fighting off sinus/bronchitis infection so did not do very well sticking with our plan of groceries and cooking, but the good news is I have not gained still holding firm(well actually a little mushy) at 290, so I am pretty happy about having gained during the past couple as I have not felt even close to thinking about exercise.

Hello, I thought I would be reporting bad news this week -- but, I actually have lost .5 pounds.  I had a full day eating out -- lunch at the Olive Garden -- but guess what -- they had roasted chicken on the menu and I just didn't eat the potatoes, etc.  but there were deserts and lots of tempting foods at a reception -- I just knew that my "samplings" would add up. The next day I went back to my regular meals.  So, I am very happy to report loosing a half pound rather than gaining any.  I also exercised more the day after I ate so much food.  Maybe that helped.

Happy to report:  134.5.

Weighing in at 152.6; virtually the same.  Exercising a lot, which probably means my goal shorts are not obscene on me anymore - would almost wear them in public.  So, lost an inch or so, weight the same.

I tried to post on Monday -my usual weigh in day, but the board kept rejecting my post.

I stayed the same at 159. Not a bad thing. I'm happy as long as I don't gain!
