Our moderators send through as many questions as they can, based on the amount of time allotted for the chat and the number of questions submitted. Generally, questions are more likely to be selected if they're of general interest, clear, and not answered elsewhere on the site. If your question is selected, it will show up in the main chat window. The expert will answer it, and the answer will also show up in the chat window.
